If ooze of oil is recognized on the axle case, carry out the following checks.
Park the machine on a level ground before starting the check.
(If the machine is tilted in the right or left, exact measurement of oil level becomes unavailable.)
1. Stop the machine on a level ground.
2. Start the engine.
3. Run the engine at low idle to fill the axle oil cooling system.
4. After 3 minutes remove the mud and dirt from around the oil filler port (F) and level plug (1).
5. Remove oil filler port (F) and level plug (1).
6. Check that the oil is near the bottom edge of the plug hole.
7. If the oil level is below the bottom edge, add oil through oil filler port (F).
8. If the oil level is appropriate, install level plug (1).
Tightening torque: 152 ± 24 Nm {15.5 ± 2.5 kgm}
